They responded positively to a noble call. Eighty-one people turned up on 17 May 2013 to donate blood.

The blood donation campaign was organised by Kuala Terengganu Specialist Hospital (KTS) together with Sultanah Nur Zahirah (SNZ) Hospital.

KTS employees, customers, corporations and members of the community were among those who turned up.

“The blood donation campaign is part of our social responsibility programme,” said KTS Hospital CEO Zawiah Sharif.

‘We are proud to work with Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital.”

A total of 53 packets of blood was collected and donated to the Blood Bank of SNZ Hospital.

The SNZ Hospital team of eight doctors and nurses, led by the hospital’s information officer, Suhaimi Yusof, handled the blood donation.
